Intel® Kubernetes Service Cloud Monitor¶
Use Cloud Monitor on the Intel® Kubernetes Service Control Plane, where you can view Kubernetes clusters.
Select the Kubernetes tab for the selected cluster in the Intel® Tiber™ AI Cloud console.
Select the appropriate cluster in the dropdown.
Cloud Monitor for Kubernetes clusters provides comprehensive monitoring capabilities for both the API Server and etcd components. By offering insights into resource utilization, request handling, and error tracking, users can effectively assess the performance and health of their Kubernetes environment. This service enables users to identify potential overload scenarios, understand server behavior, and pinpoint areas for optimization, ensuring efficient operation and management of their clusters.
In addition to resource monitoring, our service tracks network traffic and database usage, providing a holistic view of the cluster’s operational dynamics. By analyzing communication patterns and data flow, users can gain valuable insights into network efficiency and storage utilization. This information is crucial for maintaining optimal performance and addressing any communication issues within the cluster, supporting robust and reliable Kubernetes operations.
Some available indicators include: CPU Usage, Memory Usage, Requests by code, Requests by verb, Latency by node name, Errors by nodename, Errors by verb and HTTP Requests by nodename.
Other indicators for etcd components are: CPU Usage, Memory usage, Client traffic In, Client traffic Out, Peer traffic In, Peer traffic Out and DB Size in use.
